Researchers in South Africa discovered the remains of a previously
unknown human-like hominid that had a remarkably small brain, but a
more developmentally advanced pelvis. I don’t want to burst anyone’s
science bubble, I think Sandra Bullock already discovered that
species.

Scientists have found a new lizard called the Varanus Bititawa that is
a cousin to the giant Komodo Dragon. Of course, friends of the Varanus
already knew they were related because he brags about it all the time.
He’s constantly telling the story of the time they sunned themselves
on the same hot rock during thanksgiving. He can call him right now if
you want to prove it, he totally has his number!

Physicists have reported a new element on the periodic table, in spot
117.  It's a Superheavy element that only lasts about 70 days before

Recently, researchers have found that Japanese people’s stomachs have
genetically to digest seaweed better, from centuries of eating sushi.
That’s great news! It means if I just keep at it, someday my ancestors
with be able to eat Wendy’s Chili past running distance from a toilet.
Thank you science, I will never give up.

A Swiss adventurer, Bertrand Piccard, completed a two-hour test flight
of a solar powered plane this week. The plane doesn’t use any
expensive airline fuel, which means they’ll have to come up with some
other  reason to screw us with $20 luggage charges.
Bertrand actually comes from a long line of adventurers. His father
Jacques went deeper into the ocean than anyone before him, his
grandfather Auguste was the first man to take a balloon into the
stratosphere and the women in his family have been the most patient on
Earth.
